Quarantine at la Réunion

Thursday 15th October 2020 : arrived safely in la Réunion with beautiful sun and blue sky !

It's very hot and humid. I'm very tiered from the 11h-trip, I didn't sleep much. Luckily I have 14 days to relax and sleep !

We all pick up our bags, and hop into a bus that will take us from Saint Denis airport to our hotel in Saint Gilles, where we will stay in quarantine until the boat leaves.

I can admire the sea and the mountains from the bus window - I wont be able to enjoy these great places yet, it'll have to wait until I get back from my 14 months on the island.

We have a nice hotel, each in our own room with a terrace. Although in quarantine, these 14 days should be quite enjoyable !
